WILD 03:16
I'm burning down Breaking bones Cooling down Drying out I'm a field run fallow Under February snow Can't find a hand to hold It couldn't keep me from the cold My heroes aren't heroes My demons dealing doubles through the night Remember you were made wild Rows and ridges fence the mind Grow your hair out in the rain Dig your roots down deeper in the dirt and find You are right on time I planted seeds, let them go Walked away, let them grow You and me, we are trees Crossing roots and standing tall Wrapping branches round the fall And our heroes aren’t heroes Writer of words, what's that worth? Remember you were made wild Roll in ribbon grass and rhymes Dance your clothes off in the day Take a breath, breathe out the pain You'll be alright Children of the wild Now the drought is over Let it rain, let it cry Til springtime shines Remember you were made wild

WHIPLASH 04:00
Crash The rain and the rubber Can’t get out Sitting on the road Wishing for another Theres a burn in the middle of my chest Hips locked from braking into impact Cut me out, shoot me up Smash Your words on my windshield Put me down, keep me in the same wheel Hits like this break ya down over time Can't talk back baby, gotta take it like ya done a crime Gonna climb in a cave, gonna hide Can’t walk around safe so i’ll stay inside The storm came and this is how i live now With a seatbelt scar and a whiplash heart Getting by on CBD, caffeine, clean cooking and vitamin D Long walks, slow walks, slip around the same block Never calling you back I’m never calling you back Is it killing you fast? Gonna wait on the clouds to pass me by Gonna wait on the storm to roll me over Can’t keep waiting cuz its all a lie Gotta learn to live how I am now Cuz this is who I am now Crash Smash Waiting thru the whiplash Triggers take take take me back As small as a look or a turn from the dash The rain in the air, the burn of the rubber The smoke on your breath You sound like my mother Gonna climb in a tree gonna hide I can’t walk around safe so I'll stay high The storm came and this is how I live now With a seatbelt scar and a whiplash heart Whiplash heart

STILL LIFE 03:14
Driving through the county Am I the lost or found me? Feathers fall and fade through Shaking off the shades of you But its still life, still life You’re playing house on the border Thought there was a war there Did you become the hunter? You always wanted more But its still life, still life Threw it all under the bridge Land of the living never gives I'm falling down We're breaking down Into the ground But its still life And I’m still alive Still life

ETHER 03:12
Who’s voice is in your head? Can you drown it down in the mix? How long can you live in words? I’m trying to be in my bones I’m floating out thru the ether I’m in the ether Driving down Holly Street every day On my way to therapy All for the love of winter Phoebe Bridgers All for the love of a girl Who’s voice is in your head? Can you shut it down again? Download a new computer program Reload, do another yoga Take a smoke, fill your lungs up Lets float away… far away…… into the ether And try to give less fucks Than the general population Thats how you take the nation Thats how you win Who’s Voice is in your head / (In the ether)
5.
CRAZY 02:38
When I get what I want, I don’t want it no more You gave me a taste when I wanted a pour Cuz I can’t have you I want you more I makes me feel crazy Cuz I been holding on To you baby You’ve been moving on But I still love you Crazy, crazy You told me "we're friends" You told me thats all I took a step back Then you built the wall Who am I when you don’t call no more? I makes me feel crazy Cuz I been holding on To you baby You’ve been moving on But I still love you Crazy, crazy I miss feeling sad sometimes Cuz your love gives me life Baby your love gives me life Does that make me crazy? Cuz I been holding on To you baby You’ve been moving on But I still love you Crazy, crazy

about

Singer/Songwriter Daisy O’Connor calls herself a suitcase soul and possesses the adventurous and spontaneous spirit that defines a great traveller. As she navigates musical worlds she is equal parts bold and unguarded, blending truth-telling folk traditions with vivid lyrics and rock-inspired sounds. Her new EP “\ETHER is comprised of songs that served as catharsis during a long recovery from a car accident. Born of a fragile and uncertain period in her life, they reflect the resilience, positivity, and creative spark that carried her through. “Music saved my life, reaching my darkest moments and reminding me I’m not alone. I want to shine that light back.” ETHER was completely fan- funded and entirely crafted by Daisy and her bandmates Josh Halpern and Gregg White in Gregg’s small hill country recording studio. These are the songs that came shining through the Ether when they were needed most and Daisy is excited to share them.
